Taxes Hold'em Basics

1. Played from a standard 52 card deck

2. Each player is dealt 2 cards face down, The cards dealt to you, must stay private as they are the only part of your hand that will be only seen by yourself

3. Next is a round of betting, on top of the blinds posted. Betting starts from the players to the left of blinds (clockwise). At any time a player can check, bet or fold

4. Next comes the The Flop, a period where 3 community cards are presented by the dealer.

5. Following The Flop comes a round of betting, moving into next stage of cards.

6.The Flop, followed by The Turn, when 1 community card is laid down, then followed with another round of betting and lastly

7. The River, The final card to be brought to the table, this is then followed by a final round of betting and then the cards are displayed

8. The player with the best 5 card hand using the 7 cards on the table (his 2 and the community 5)

Good post. Not too many beginners no the lingo.

i have only gotten that damn royal flush once, it was online and got paid nothing for it. noone else had anything good.

thats a bummer, i have never gotten a royal flush in all the times i have played the closest i was, had all but ace, was chasing and never got it, in that loosing xxxx
