I have a question. I don't play much poker in real life, only on the internet. I rarely watch it on tv also. I was wondering why on full tilt 80 percent of time that someone has a pocket pair so does someone else. Is this something that is legit? Just wondering. I would like to hear from those who have some insight.

Dont wonder if u see pairs so much on Ftp,because u see a lot of unreal hands! But in normal live poker it happens as well!Its poker! ;-)

I've also found this to be the case. I've been in some pretty interesting hands at FTP. But like the one fella said it does happen in live tourneys also. I just don't think it happens as often.

this is the situation everyone tries to stay away from , the high inside pair. if i draw pocket sixes on tilt i check if they move allin pre flop i fold, becouse your right most of the time if you draw 4 4, someone else has 7 7 but thats poker so its a gamble playem or foldem is all up to you.

Its common for at least 1 person to have a pair any given hand

Well you don't really know how often PP isn't being shown or is folded. I have to think that 80% is completely made up because the numbers all work out from a large enough sample. Nothing ends as it shouldn't.

Yea Ive seen alot of pairs on fulltilt, But I have seen more donkey suk outs on pokerstars.I prefer fulltilt over pokerstars anyday.

I had almost the same hand in Boss Media...that's where the insane hands are

AA vs AA vs KK vs QQ vs TT vs 77 vs 33 vs 88....and the second AA won with 4 flush

i dont like getting poc pairs like j's and queens. they lose way more than they win. give me 7's or 8's i set up with them a lot.

it seems that way or at least i believe it does because no one thinks about when i guy bets pocket 2s and everyone folds......you only remember when the guy raises with 99 and gets called by qq.......at least this is my thought on it
