All strategies seem to work in poker from the tight style of Dan Harrington to the extremely loose style of Gus Hanson or Sam Farha.......

I tend to play differently according to my chip stack, if im chipped low im tighter but if i have a large stack ill play a little looser.....question is WHAT is your style and why do you think it is the best?

I really admire the number of hands gus hanson plays, i think by doing so, he's increasing the possibility of winning more hands. He's not going to play with 7-2 off suite. He might play with hands which others would fold, but i think he'd just as easily throw them away if the hand gets serious!

I play somewhere in between, I like to play quite a lot of hands, but i guess it depends on my chip stack aswell!

I used to play extremely tight, and found that in tournaments it's often enough to get you in the money, but doesn't leave you with enough chips to win the tourney. I'm trying to be a little looser in the early parts of the game now, but of course that can be dangerous in freerolls due to the donk factor.

my answer to this is there isnt any game or (style) you have when you start the tournament the game/style will find yourself

I like to play tight agressive
But i will play any style i switch it up, often playing opposite the way people at my table are playing

the best is tight/aggresive.

i like to play aggressive so i can set the tone of the game
