Betting or raising table minimum is a good way to get a read on your opponents cards even if you're pot commited. I suggest if you're not the shortstack or even if you're shortstacked in a winner take all scenario (you still get 0 for 2nd place) bet or raise the minimum. Quick calls and re-raises could either mean that they are doing the same or are still reliant on your own actions to see what kind of cards you have.
